Achievements
FTK has made significant strides in its mission to empower marginalized groups:
- Developed policies to strengthen institutional governance, including the HR Manual, Procurement Policy, and Safeguarding Framework.
- Referred hundreds of Youth, to essential health services for HIV, STI, and harm reduction support.
- Advocated for legal reforms and inclusive policies, enhancing the protection of Youth in Zanzibar.
- Provided mental health education and resilience training to youth and vulnerable groups.
- Strengthened community cohesion through participatory forums, consultations, and strategic planning.
- Partnered with key stakeholders, including UNAIDS and the Zanzibar AIDS Commission, to deliver impactful health and advocacy programs.
