Transforming Communities Across Lower Moshi – Project by Project

Since our founding in 2009, FT Kilimanjaro (FTK) has implemented numerous community-led initiatives that have improved education, healthcare, access to water, and livelihoods across the villages surrounding the TPC Estate.

This page offers a growing overview of our completed projects, highlighting the impact created through partnerships, community collaboration, and donor support.

While we continue to make progress, these completed projects showcase the kind of transformation made possible when communities take the lead, and partners come alongside them.

Mtakuja Village Development Project

Period: 2008 – 2015

Location: Mtakuja Village, Kilimanjaro Region

Investment: TZS 3.14 billion / €1,004,000

Through a holistic approach to development, the Mtakuja Village Project transformed lives by introducing sustainable improvements in agriculture, education, health, infrastructure, and leadership. The project greatly boosted food security, income, and hope for the community’s future.
